This is a poem that was written by Erin Musgrave. Erin has submitted this poem to us, I have made a 1 week deadline to write the music and compose a song from a very famous poet! We are very excited about turning this beautiful poem into a song for the Lord! Thanks Erin! You can find more of Erins work Here. Type her name in the search to see all of her work!

Erin Musgrave
It only takes one touch
One touch for God to change a heart
To change a life, to change a soul
One touch to make us all whole
The crying mother on her knees, begging God to help her
please
The soldier brave in the face of war
The child who runs to his father’s arms
God has touched them all
Some may not notice the soft touch
A voice within, a stranger’s help, a needed hug
A sickness healed, a debt repaid,
A relationship is mended
The world is given credit
But God orchestrates it all
There are some who run away
Fear to hard to master
We like our lives in our control
and fear what God might ask us
The voice within is silenced
The emptiness never filled
Peace is sought but never found
We shutout the crying within
Hearts, they must be opened
And fears must be relieved
God’s touch is there within us all
if you look, you will see
If Ears begin to listen
And Eyes begin to see
God’s voice will soon get louder
And his works will soon be seen
Our hearts begin to open
And peace begins to fall
I now can see what’s missing
Christ’s love has made me whole
One touch is all it took
To change a heart to change a life
To change a soul
One touch to make me whole
